Description

This plug and play vacuum gripper set is developed in collaboration with Schmalz, the market leader in vacuum technology. This gripper is ideal for picking up items such as boxes, a common application in palletizing.

The vacuum is generated directly in the gripper using compressed air, eliminating the need for external vacuum pumps. The on/off functionality is also integrated into the gripper, resulting in a compact and fully integrated system.

How is the gripper controlled via Fairino?

The integrated valves are controlled via the I/O of the Fairino or UR cobot.

Can this gripper pick up objects without full contact?

Yes, the gripper automatically closes individual zones when not all suction cups make contact.

Can the gripper be mounted directly on the cobot?

Yes, the assembly is compatible with both Fairino and UR flanges. The flanges from Fairino and UR are actually the same.
