The IR12-30IO Gripper is an optional addition, ideal for applications that require gripping and releasing objects. The position, speed, and gripping force of the gripper can be easily adjusted via the web interface. Additionally, the gripper arm parts can be replaced with custom 3D-printed pieces, allowing the gripper to be adapted for any specific application.

This gripper is controlled via I/O (NPN), making it easy to connect multiple grippers. The force and position of this gripper are not variable; it is either open or closed with a fixed force.

What is the difference between the IO gripper and other variants?

The IO gripper is controlled via digital inputs and outputs of the cobot. This uses the 8-pin M12 connector on the robot arm. This keeps the 5-pin M12 connection available for other accessories, such as a torque sensor.

What control options does the Fairino software offer?

The gripper can be opened and closed via digital outputs. Unlike other variants, no control over position, force, or speed is possible. The advantage is the simple integration and free availability of the 5-pin connection.

Can two grippers be operated simultaneously?

Yes, multiple grippers can be connected with a suitable splitter cable.

Can this gripper be combined with a torque sensor?

Yes, this gripper can be combined directly with a torque sensor without any additional extensions.

Can custom fingers be installed?
